DETAIL SPECIFICATION
HOSE AND HOSE ASSEMBLY, RUBBER,
HYDRAULIC BRAKE, TYPE I AND TYPE II
This specification is approved for use by all Departments
and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers hose and hose assembly, rubber, hydraulic brake, type I and
type II.
1.2. Part or Identifying Number (PIN). The PIN consists of the letter M, the basic specification number,
a dash, a number for hose type, a number for hose size, a dash, three numbers for length a dash, and a
number for fractions of an inch or for bulk hose lengths the letter B or S.
